Our Mission

At kidsActing we provide a supportive, fun environment where young people can be creative, expressive and improve communication skills- traits that improve performance in school and enhance one's life. We feel the process of learning and striving for personal, individual excellence is important in developing self-confidence. Each class is age-appropriate; though the description of a class is the same for all age groups, the level of work changes depending on the age of the class so students are encouraged and challenged. The emphasis within a class varies each semester and the specific work is always different, thus repeating a class is encouraged to achieve a higher level of excellence.   And kidsActing is FUN!

Theatre and Classroom Rental

Need a fully equipped theatre for your production?  How about a beautiful rehearsal room complete with wood floors,mirrors and suitable for dance?  KidsActing's new home, Center Stage Texas has a central Austin location and is available for rental.  Check out our space!

What Is Center Stage?

The brainchild of Dede Clark, Center Stage Texas is a non-profit devoted to bringing theatre arts and after school programs to underserved children.  At 2826 Real St. it also serves as the new home for kidsActing!  Visit Center Stage Texas to find out more about its current programs and fundraisers.

Want to Volunteer?

We have many opportunities to volunteer in all facets of production including costuming, set construction, production crew, box office management and concession sales.  We also have internships available.  Please send an email if you are interested!
